Great thread! Some good suggestions here. Shawn, who did you end up going with for working on the tii?
I'll be looking to have some body and paint work done on one of my E30's in a few months....
This sounds like a cool activity. Is this rain-or-shine?
Around what time do you all typically meet in Thurmont? Thinking about registering and joining the run this time if my schedule permits.
Thanks for the recommendation John. I plan on checking out Brian's shop and getting some estimates for PDR and detailing. My E39 has taken a beating this winter :(
I have a badge on my e39. As MPWR said, you just need to cut off a bit of the bolt on the back and give it little filing so the nut screws on properly.
Congrats on the E30! Love those cars. I currently have 2 convertibles (one driver and one project). Used to have a coupe and sedan at one point.
I like surprises! I'm registered to attend.
I'm a maybe this month. Probably be a last minute call Thurs on whether I can make it or not.
Heads up. Usual meeting spot is closed off for construction. Where is plan B location?
Hey Zchild. Currently our daily drivers are a 2003 e39 530i (mine) and a 2008 e90 335i (wife's). When the weather is nice I drive my 1991 e30 325 convertible. I also have a 1992 e30 convertible...
I've been a CCA member for 10 years and an owner for about 17 years. I'm planning on finally attending the NoVA social this week so I figured I would post and say "Hi".
Just stumbled on this. These plates would look really good! Just signed up my interest for both of our cars.
