Next season, I'm wrapping my car in latex. That will solve the problem.
Speak for yourself. I have two STDs according to these analyses. That's not the sort of thing you want to have spread around. :-)
I ended up reaching them without a problem this morning. In answer to my question about tire alignment, they use Allen Automotive who are located just around the corner from them.
Yes, that's the number I called. Just tried again and the phone rang, but no answer. I'm not sure of their hours so maybe they are closed now. Does anyone have a recommendation for someone to do...
Does anyone know if anything is up with Radial Tire? I'm trying to check availability on tires for my wife's car and their website is down and phone is giving a "fast busy" signal.
Sounds good. So, I'll probably be signing up today. Do I understand correctly that the event starts at the Catoctin Mountain Orchard?
Are children welcome on these tours? We'd like to go, but it would be with a 6 and 10 year old in tow.
Is the ChapterFest autox totally separate from the regular AutoX program? In other words, do I have to register for this AutoX even though I have a season subscription? Does the ChapterFest event...
This event was great and I had a blast. Thanks to the organizers for doing such a terrific job. A special thanks to Charles, Andy, and Dan for putting up with my driving. I learned a lot from you...

The Driver's School people almost never read this forum. You will be better off emailing Doug Verner at NCCDSRegistrar@mac.com
There doesn't appear to be many people registered right now....
Use the main entrance and then just go like you would if you were going to the Jefferson Circuit.
I just came across this article from the BBC about a sport in the West Bank they call "Speedtest" that is something like autocross. Apparently the British are putting some money into it to encourage...
My best run was a paltry 46.797. Video of that run is below. If anyone could offer tips for improvement, I'd really appreciate it:

What are the rules for in-car cameras? Any special mounting requirements?
Thanks, but the trade off was a fastest time of only 55.969 and fifth in my class. I was tip-toeing through the boxes. Next time I won't be so afraid to sacrifice a few cones.

IE 8 works for me.
I just saw that the 24 Hours of LeMons will be coming to Summit Point June 19-20, 2010. That should be a blast.

Almost all in Group C are tilted. It looks like all the student groups are predominately tilted, but the instructors group photos are not.
I contacted the photographer and he said that what you...
Almost every photo appears to be tilted about 45 degrees or so. Does anyone know if what you see is what you get, or do you get a picture that is not titled?
I'm signed up for both days and thinking about getting a hotel room for the night rather than driving back and forth to DC. Is anyone else planning to do the same? If so, which hotel? It would be...
I talked to him during the event and he said he was driving a completely stock Z3. I don't know what year or whether it was a four or six cylinder. If four, then S4 is correct.
I have a 135i and plan on attending the October drivers school. I was at the last autocross and car control clinic as well. I think the low numbers of 1 Series at track events has more to do with...
My weekend plans just changed so now I am able to attend this event. However, since online registrations are now closed, I'll have to do walk-up registration. If anyone is keeping track of such...
