you can look for a mark on the crank pulley for a TDC mark. this only means crank is TDC. to see if #1 is TDC, look at the cam lobes. all the valves should be closed on #1

is it legal in the US? i've read about that car. i'd love to see it at an event one day. even if it's just there on display.
my advice is to wait untill the manuals are released a little later....

the problem with them is once you exceed about 700 deg. the friction falls off the map. it's also how i ended in the gravel trap in turn one at summit.
