When you say "honor" - are you saying that they have offered a CCA discount in the past?
Keep in mind that part of what you are paying that price for is beating on someone else's clutch.
There were several published letters on this subject in a recent (past) Roundel. I think 1-2 issues back.

I haven't read anything yet in your posts that suggests that you have an issue that requires a BBK. I would start with good pads (Performance Friction, Pagid et al) that have good track/street...
Did you discuss this with your Instructor that was in the car?
Did you experience brake fade or lack of sufficient braking effectiveness when hot?
When I did it last year it was about an 8 month wait.
Dan does all of the work on my E46 M3, including track Tech inspections. I recommend him 100%.

Re-check the year of the post you are using as a reference.
I received mine recently. At that time it was an 8 month wait.
Keep in mind that Simple Green eats aluminum.
I applied in April - FWIW.

Virginia, especially No. Va. can be famously brutal with reckless driving penalties. I would go with a good attorney.
