I did provide them with useful suggestions on how to advertise/broadcast it. I am not in charge of their social media or email accounts to do it myself, so its easy for you to say I should do something about it. I am surprised that you are saying the tour is well received when no one has signed up, please double check. I saw the tour months ago and wrote it on my calendar; it is being very poorly advertised on the appropriate platforms. So are you going to check your facts first?

I'm sure the web marketing team wouldn't mind more help to improve coverage. This month's Board Meeting is at Chuy's Wednesday. You are certainly welcome to come and discuss this if you don't think we are doing enough to advertise and maybe you can figure out there is some way you can change that. I didn't know where to start when I planned my first tour, but when a call went out for ideas I stepped up and came up with a tour and executed it with help from other tourmeisters. And that's the kind of thing that we mean when we suggest volunteering. Even if its just starts out with a little bit of help.
The club is always looking for more people to step up and help fill niches and support, I don't use social media outside of Facebook so I can't say I know where to start with Instagram and I get inundated everyday with emails from all kinds of groups and sites and so to me sending out too many is just frustrating for people. None of us in the tours section have access much outside of Motorsportreg. I'm here to plan tours and enjoy them, I tend to leave the advertising to others.
Each Tour I've taken time to make up routes, call restaurants, test and retest routes, check the food is ok, find places to rest and regroup, answer questions from prospective tourers, print out directions. This goes for the other tourmeisters and their tour planning as well. So to hear we're not doing enough is a bit frustrating.
