The der Bayerische's deadline is the 21st of every odd month. To get something in the magazine a event needs to be planned at least 3 months in advance. We also rely on the monthly emailings and the calendar of events on the website.

Insurance is necessary for all events. Any chapter officer can help with obtaining insurance.

During the event
Pictures are nice. They can be posted to the gallery on the website and a few should be used for the der Bayerische. You also need to find someone to write an article for the der Bayerische. It's nice for people to see what they missed.

You can never plan far enough in advance. If you have an idea for next year, think about it now. There is also nothing wrong with repeating popular events.

I would like to see something on corner balancing the car and alignment setup. Any chance that could happen?

alignment

Go to the FunKtion Auto Group open house on January 7, you will see that this is the featured technical event. They are even giving away a race car alignment. You can see photos of their new shop on the funktion auto website. It's beautiful and I'm sure the event will be first class.

I was hoping we could get a road rally event set up in the late spring/early summer.
It's been many years since the chapter last hosted a true TSD rally. Most feel the work involved and difficulty in recruiting checkpoint workers is not worth the small number of entrants. Some gimmick or "fun" rally might be do-able.

I'll probably setup a fun rally from Maryland to Summit Point if we have a BBQ in the evening. Gimmick and fun rallies can be difficult but at least they don't require workers.

DentMasters (Springhill Rd and Rt 7 in Vienna) would like to host a demo of the paintless dent repair process. If intersted talk to Brad Hodgson 703.969.7777
