What's the scoop on registration packets?

We're a little less than a month out and I've yet to see anything in the mail... or my inbox. (Late May, early June is super busy for me, so the sooner I can figure out when to get the 3 teched, the better.)

Take a look in your inbox. There should be a message from me with the Student Information Package.

The Student Package is also now available on the NCC webpage in the VIR event registration area.

Now, go get your car inspected and get ready to have fun!

Good, I'm glad that the email actually worked. I was worried that my email provider would think I was trying to send out "inappropriate" emails.

Now, let's see how many bounced email I get back.

What is nice about this pre-registration system is that every email address must be correct or they can't register.

I'll tech my car when I get back from Mid-Ohio. I'll need to flush my brake fluid then.

It's not much of a skid pad. Miriam will be there this week to take a look at it. The last time anyone I know who used it they found it not very good. It really needs to be painted and polished.

Last time I was there, I tried it (admittedly with no rear sway), and I couldn't get the tail out. :eeps: The "skidpad" was grippier than the track.
 
A couple years ago I spoke to someone at VIR about the skidpad. They know it needs to be improved but low on their priority list. At the time the lodge was high on the list. Maybe the skidpad is working its way up.
 
I am trying to find out if there's a way to register really, really late. I just learned of the event.

If there have been any cancellations or there is still a spot I could fill, could some here please point me in the right direction?
