Is the gathering still going on? This Saturday looks like it should be really nice. I attended a couple earlier in the summer and it was definitely a good time!

Yes, still going on until it gets too cold (although there's always coffee nearby!).

Many of us are headed down to Solomons Island this Saturday, and we're starting at Fulton.

I've heard through the grapevine that over the next few weeks we could possibly be the topic for a local newspaper. It would be great to get the turnout back to what we had in the summer (I'm guilty as charged too).

Weather forecast seems to be decent over the holidays, so come on out if you can!!! I'd be nice to put on a good show for the local media.

I'm planning on going tomorrow (11/26)...been a few weeks since I could do it but the weather does look like it should be perfect!

I really can't wait till the spring decides to roll back our way...Would be great to get out and actually start gettin involved with NCC events. haha. However, this "winter" this year is doing a rather good impression of spring time though...
 
I've read the posts on the link, but still don't know what "coding" means. Flashing the ECU? Most E-chassis cars? E12s, E21s, E24, E28, E30 . . . These either did not have an ECU or the units used chips.

"Coding " or "keying" refers to turning on/off the options usually performed at the dealership at delivery. Some examples:

Does this group still meet? Moved into Maple Lawn a little over a year ago so it's nice and convenient for me :) Would love to bring my son to checkout some cool cars.

Yes, we still meet, usually after 830a. Not sure what the turnout will be tomorrow due to the holidays, but we also have a Facebook page (search Maple Lawn Cars & Coffee). Sometimes we meet at ML super early and head to Katies, then back to ML to hangout again.
