  • Hi Woody, I am a fairly new member with the club and could use some advice from a member with experience. I just bought a 1999 e36 M3 in need of new suspension. I intend to use the car for driving schools for the most part but will also you it on a fairly regular basis to commute from Oakton to DC. Curry's Auto recommended Bilstein Sports for the rear shocks and front struts, and Eibach Pro Kit for springs and sway bars. I am complete novice with cars, so I can only go with what I read on BMW forums. From what I can tell, Bilstein equipement will provide a very hard ride on streets and might not be the best for the track either. I have seen many posts suggest Konis yellow and H&R Sport for springs. In short, do you know of a good shop in the area that can explain to me the pros and cons of the choices as well as install? I really appreciate any advice you can give me.
