It's a very well done documentary looking behind the scenes on the preparation for the race. But I was disappointed in the lack of track and race action. Also, in car shots are not necessarily angled for the best "driver's" view of the track. Be sure to display English subtitles.

And I thought I was the first to see it. :)
I think what's good about the documentary is that it would appeal to a cross section of people.
Not just race fans, which I am not.

Maybe a restaurant? Are there any restaurants with lots of TVs in a private room?

I have some leads I'm chasing, with some being restaurants. Most places so far don't have HD capability

Mar 10 BMW CCA National Capital Chapter
presents 24 Hours. One Team. One Target. http://www.nccbmwcca.org/images/ncc/one_team_banner.png The story of BMW Motorsport's assault on the 24 hours of Nürburgring 2011 The documentary tells the story of BMW’s preparation and race in the 24 Hours Nürburgring. The Hahne brothers; Tim & Nick had unprecedented access during the filming and started recording team & car preparation early as February 2011. "There were no limitations, we were right up close," says Nick Hahne. During the race we recorded around 200 hours of material with six cameras.
Prior to the race there were many unique opportunities to interact with the team. They spent time filming with Augusto Farfus and Jorg Muller during their preparations in their adopted country of Monaco, and Schnitzer team manager Charly Lamm provided plenty of entertaining anecdotes during the filming.
The results are spectacular and this may be the only time you'll be able to watch this movie in a theater.

You haven't added her as an Associate member for only $10? Shame on you! :)

Associate membership makes an excellent Valentines Day gift. So romantic! And less calories than chocolate.

VicAnd when she buys that new BMW next year, there is the membership reward rebate. :)

Along with the showing of 24hours. One Team. One Target., we have been in discussion with the producer regarding a group purchase of the DVD or BlueRay disks. If you are interested in purchasing a copy of this fine film, please send an email to Steve Tenney. Once we determine interest and determine the discounted price we will inform those who contact us. Normal pricing is shown here on the RacingWebShop.com. A group purchase would also reduce shipping costs.

Registration is now open!

I would like to attend, but want to know if I need to register my 7 year old sons. They are not members nor associates, and I kind of think making them associates for this event is silly. Also, there is a limit of one guest and I can oly attend if I bring both.

Surely with twins you can figure out a way to register one and sneak in the other.

Theatre seating is now sold out, however, there is still time to join us! Those placed on the waitlist will be guaranteed a slot for open seating in the huge, beautiful lounge area. Its actually a very nice setup: 60" TV surrounded by multiple leather sofas, pool tables, a full kitchen (where our reception is held and better access to food/drink/socializing during the showing).

Please signup ASAP as registration will close once we hit 15 people.
