View Full Version : Need Recommendation: Top Notch Paint Detailer in Maryland
I need a first class paint detailer to deal with a shallow hairline scratch on otherwise perfect paint. If anyone can give someone a strong recommendation - I'd appreciate it. I'm looking for someone with a strong experience.
Thanks,
Alan

Was that you at Watkins Glen, Alan? Have you considered a clear bra?

That was me. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y91/Eyesofsilver/M3%20Folder/BMWCCA%20NCC%20Events/GVC%20Watkins%20Glen%20Aug%202009/IMG_1868.jpg
(The hairline seems to be in the clearcoat only)
I am probably going to put a clear bra on in Fall.

Of course I have no idea how bad this scratch really is, but I have always had great success with Scratch Out. You may want to try it.

I'm going to try an experienced detailer first since it is on the hood. I don't want to attempt a DIY with uncertain results. I do appreciate your idea though.
