New Location: Solomons Pier Oyster Bar and Grill! Located on the water in beautiful, Solomons Island Maryland. Join us for Great food and drinks. Get there early so that everyone can park together.

Meet Outside: 6pm (I'll be there by 5pm)

Go Inside: 7pm

Solomon's Pier Oyster Bar & Grill
14575 Solomons Island Road South
Solomons Island, MD 20688
(410) 326-2424

In order to continue having future socials, the club will cover up to $20/head, so we'll collect $ to help cover the remaining part of the bill/gratuity (usually $5-10/head). Those who have a few more drinks or order more expensive food items will need to chip in more than those who stay within the $20/head limit.

See everyone there!

bump for this special event....there has been some talk about getting a caravan started to ride down together. I propose we meet at Passport BMW at 3:30pm and leave there by 4:00p. Mapquest says its about 55 miles, so depending on traffic, hopefully we'll be there on time.

wow, that's like Joe Namath guaranteeing a Super Bowl win!!!

Although its more than a week away, hopefully more people NOT from the Southern MD area will be able to attend (I already know the locals will be there in full force). There's some beautiful scenary down there, and the drive is great.

I'll probably take the day off and play golf before I head down there, so if anyone wants to join me, let me know.

I just noticed that the address in the original post is incorrect. It should be:
14575 Solomons Island Rd S
NOT 1457.

Orlando's beating me up every day about this. I have to drive to MO and back next week, but I should be back in time! (I think I have the skillz to do the speed run...)
Who wants to see a car that you never have to wash? Anyone?

Thanks for the compliment.

Let's see, I'm going to quote my favorite song title from the 80s.
"I can't drive 55!"

(or in most cases, the speed limit) I have an "escort" that protects me. :icon_twis But I do have to be careful on the way out this time...

I did a practice run to Stoney's Solomons Pier Oyster Bar and Restaurant last night. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was great, the food was excellent (the Mini-burgers were the best I've had in a long time). The weather was beautiful and it promises to be even nicer tomorrow! i'm tempted to drive up to Passport and drive back down with you guys, but I'll be down here making sure that the logistics run smoothly on this end. I'll see you people tomorrow!

All is set for tonight. The lovely ladies at Solomons Pier have called to tell me that they have added extra staff to accommodate our large group. We will be well taken care of as we enjoy food, drink, the best views and our BMWs parked right outside. I... can't... wait!

Thank you all for showing up to the social! We had a great time with great people we even got coverage by the New York Post! How random is that? It was great meeting new friends and catching up to old friends. The cars were beautiful, the weather was perfect, the venue was outstanding, the food and service were immaculate! We must do that again soon!
