I registered.

Obviously I don't need a lift for a manifold conversion but a warm garage would be great!

:icon_blah I could possibly get you in as a walk-up; which means you would pay $25.00 and have to wait for a lift until I could get you one. Let me know if you're interested in this idea since the registration is officially closed. Just a thought. Holla back!

Most likely, I'll DIY at home this saturday.
I just didn't want to use ramps and stands.

it used to be.
Not anymore. 70 miles a day, 5 times a week.

I think I need new tires now. the rears are not "grippy" anymore.
I had a couple of big slides yesterday. Makes my commute more fun.

I just didn't want to use ramps and stands.Go find yourself a curb and sewer. That's how we did it in the old days.

You just have to find a club member with a heated garage and a lift.
Hmmm? Who would that be?
And maybe even some running hot water to clean up?

Is anyone doing a brake job at tomorrow's DIY? I need to change my rear brake rotors and pads on my wife's 530i. Are members allowed to come and watch if they missed the sign up?
Thanks,
Kimo

:icon_blah Members are allowed to come and help if they missed the sign-up, the next DIY registration opens 27 Dec 08 for a 17 Jan 09 event. I will be running that one as well and it will be back at Convenience Car Care in Manassas, VA. Happy Motoring...

You forget: I'm in Fredneck. I'll just meet you there.

...but once there, on the other hand...

Once I empty my car, I'll really leave you and your no-traction, too-low geared car behind!

How soon do you want to do the M50? Next DIY?

The next DIY sounds like a plan to me.

And trust me, give me warmer weather and we're on.

Is there a standalone feedback thread for the December DIY at Convenience?

If not -- great event, great location, wonderfully helpful hosts. Thank you Zach and the team at Convenience.
