My 1999 M3 is showing the airbag warning light. Does anyone have the SRS reset tool to diagnose and reset, or alternatively good ideas how to fix. Have checked all the wiring connections under the passenger seat.

If you're on bimmerforums.com, PM elements018, I know he has it, he's used mine before.

I've got the Peake tool to reset the airbag light. I'm out in western Loudoun County, though, a bit of a drive from Annandale. I will be at the Shenandoah Circuit driver school this weekend, if that helps.

John:
I will be there as well, that would work out great. Thanks for the help.

That sounds fine, Dave. Look for a Canyon Red '97 528i.

Can I borrow your Airbag reset tool too? I leave in sterling.
Thanks

My light is on as well. Ran it through the computer and came up with seat-belt buckle switch not functioning as well as an open circuit. I'm going to start with replacing the seat-belt switch first :icon_conf
