Come on Eric. We're all waiting to register :)
I was wondering when someone was going to comment on this. I'll be opening registration this weekend. I'll post up on this thread so if anyone wants an email notification they can simply subscribe to this thread and have the system email you when I post that it is open.

Things have been hectic lately and I still need to re-write a couple things.

I can't wait. But I will have to. So much still to do on the car.

AlfaEric

This might take a little longer than expected. I'm having connectivity issues with our server (meaning I can't update the form). :frown:

I'll post here when I'm finally able to open registration. Sorry about the delay.

Go ahead and start registering. There are still some issues that need to be sorted out but the registration form is active via the link below.

http://www.nccbmwcca.org/index.php?id=98,70,0,0,1,0

I have already contacted Steven regarding the main link pointing to a blank page and the old class information being missing (the link is currently pointing to the 2006 updates).

Don't worry about it. They go to the same form. There was an error before where that page was blank.

Should look something like:

Name Make Model Year
John Doby BMW Dunno 1990-2006

At least you didn't check Novice. :)

If you honestly don't know something, I don't mind. That information can be entered in at the event (hopefully not by me).

I don't think he's put any of his cars completely back together yet.

At least he picked a class. I mainly need class, name and email. Car information is simply used to verify people are in the correct class.

Since my tires are pretty worn, I've been debating on getting a set of r-comps. I've already got an extra set of wheels lying in my garage.

I think he moved out of the area so no one is in that class right now... That's the problem. Of course, that would make the events much less stressful.

David might be in my class but he's not sure how many events he's going to be able to attend this season.

No more Brochu...you want to race against him (or see him sideways as usual), head down to Norfolk for the Tidewater events.

Nope, only 14 wheels for my BMW (3 sets with 2 spares).

Sometimes it is cheaper to buy a set of wheels with tires than buying a new set of tires.

I think he moved a long time ago. He only ran the first event last season.

As of right now, it looks like all the members who registered will get in. Non-members are waitlisted until 3 days before the event.

You should have fun in that class. Unfortunately for me, I haven't had time to get new tires yet. I doubt I will before the event. Hopefully I'll at least find time to swap off the snow tires. :icon_doh:

Virtually all of them (at least the members who registered up until the last day or two). I'm just waiting for registration to close and a few more cancellations so I can reduce the waitlist a bit. 1st and 2nd heats are full.

I won't be able to make heat 1 on Saturday.:icon_tear So I guess the waiting list can shrink by 1. My daughter has a volleyball tournament on Saturday (thought it was Sunday) but it was switched at the last minute. Hope to see you guys at Autocross#2.

I signed up for the Shenandoah School on the first day registration opened. So I hope so. I am also going to the Delaware Valley BMW CCA 3 day driving school (April 29 - May 1) at Summit Point (2 days on Jefferson and 1 day on Main). That should be fun! Hope to see you in May.

Wow Tom. We have heard more from you in the last 24 hours than in the past 6 months.

Hopefully I will make it to the May school also. Hope to see you there.

So, are the results ready yet??? ;)

The timing computer's keyboard was having issues last night so we decided to let them dry out for 24 hours to salvage the computer. I'll have Adam check it tomorrow to see if it works.

That's going to really suck if we lose the times.

Anyway, just in case, you can jot mine down. My best time was a 47.7, IIRC.

The times should be fine. It was just the keyboard was giving up at the end of the day. It was acting like one of the keys was stuck. If it is still having problems, we could always attach an external keyboard.
