Pre-registration confirmation emails have been sent for all members registered. Non-members are still on waitlist but it looks like there will be plenty of room for everyone. Heat 2 is full but heats 1 and 3 still have room.

Didn't see the post before I signed up for the 2nd heat. Which heat are you moving people to?
Thanks!

That depends on which heat has more room. I'll send out the rest of the numbers tomorrow night.

Eric, can I drive your car in the first heat if I just show up early? I'll bring the vinyl repair kit.

I'll be there but unfortunately, I'm not sure I'm going to bring the BMW. I might just run the Alfa (if it starts - starter issue). If it doesn't start then I'll be bringing the BMW. Of course, I haven't driven it in a while so it might not start either (battery drain). I might be out there trying to borrow a car too. I really need to work on my cars.

Pre-registration emails have been sent out to everyone who registered (including all non-members). If you registered and didn't receive one then you might have typed your email address wrong. Don't worry, just show up, there should be plenty of room for everyone. :)

See you there Eric.

Would you mind bringing that thing I forgot at the last event?

No problem. It's sitting on top of my autox trunk so I don't forget it.

I can't make it. I gotta go and pick up an exhaust from a guy parting out a car in Winchester. Need anything from a '87 vert?

Hmmm.. Let me think... what does my car need? Paint, a lsd, tires, a better driver, paint, seat repairs, dents pulled, a bigger motor, a car cover (to hide the paint), a trunk full of cash... I give up :( .

Eric -
Maybe you should bring your BMW to the autocross along with some paint and brushes and let us paint it as an "art" car.

Nah, paint adds weight. I'm slow enough as it is.

I don't know. Water might get trapped under the tape and cause it to rust. Although, if you did you might be able to get your car featured on the Red Green show.

No problem. I couldn't take pictures of all the cars because I was driving but I'm hoping Team WTF? got the parts I missed.

I know I have pics from a few other events buried somewhere. I'll probably post some more events as I run across them over the winter.

Does anyone know of some software (preferably free) that will resize batches of pictures (not individually)? I currently upload the files to the website and it resizes them automatically. It works great for a small number of photos but this last event I had almost 200 megs worth of pictures. It took a while to upload everything. If I resized before I uploaded it would probably save a ton of time.

Wow, that made life much easier. I just uploaded an entire set of photos in no time compared to the hours I spent uploading yesterday. Thanks!

The problem is my photos are about 2 megs each. I would only be able to zip 8-9 photos together to upload and it would take a while. By resizing first I'm able to upload everything at once. I just uploaded an entire event and it only took a few minutes. :)

I also have this, http://www.neowise.com/etc/

I can hook you up with a copy. It does basically the same thing, but I prefer it over the first link I posted.

I prefer to use Ifranview
It's small, and allows you to modify photos in more ways than you need...

Thanks guys. I might try the others over the winter but for now, that first one does exactly what I need. It would take too much time to crop all the photos I take. I didn't take photos at some of our events simply because I was so far behind uploading them to the web. With this, I'll probably shoot more next season.

I was with you all in spirit on Saturday morning. Physically, however, I was gutting the final remnants of civilized life from the E30 so that the fabricator could install the final elements of the roll cage this week.

Unless there's going to be a March or early April AutoX, I think that July will be my last NCC AutoX for the forseeable future -- I'm moving to NC in the spring and a 8 hour round trip for 4 minutes of "track" time is a bit too much. :(

Yeah, I'll try to get to at least 2... assuming that my race-prepped, street-legal SpecE30 passes muster as a student car.

Any time frame for when the results from AX#7 will be included with the season championship?

Sometime early next week. It is best if we give people time to look over the current results and find any errors so we can correct them before generating the season results.
