Yo,

Just wanted to remind everyone of the Blasting and Powdercoating Technical Session at American Stripping on Nov 5th. See details in the calendar of events.

We got about 12-15 people out when we did this two years ago, and it was a terrific tour. Very informative and interesting. They powdered a roll bar while we were there, and baked it during the tour, so we got to see the before-and-after. We got to see and touch alot of the equipment and hear about the different processes. If you've ever considered having anything blasted, painted, powder-coated, ceremakoted, etc, this is a tour you shouldn't miss.

These folks are really great, so I'd like to get a good turn-out over there...

Do we get a discount at that event? i have used them already a few time but fine they are bit pricey.

I was using a shop in Mass that did wheels strip and PC them for 55 as opposed to 90 a wheel.

They obviously have some overhead, and a minimum $$ order (not uncommon), but it's quite a facility.
I have a guy in Waterford (outside Leesburg) that does great work, and could hold a tech session next year if there is interest. He's a one-man operation, BMW & Porsche owner.

Was planning to go to this but had some things come up at the last minute. Is there going to be an article in der Bayerische? If not anybody care to comment on what they saw?

Thanks,
Alex
