Back by popular demand! We're heading down to Solomons for our annual weekend social (family friendly, of course!). For those who can't make Thursday evenings, this event is for you!!
What: Solomons Saturday Social
Our socials are really just "mini-meets", informal gatherings of BMW enthusiasts. We will gather to enjoy each others company, the panoramic view of the water, and the boardwalk from the upstairs banquet room of The Lighthouse Restaurant.
You can make your way there on your own or join our “fun run” to Southern MD. We will park in the boardwalk pier area; parking along the pier is first come, first serve, so any random car can park there. Get there early so we can all park together; arriving before 11am should guarantee a parking space.
The Lighthouse has a wide variety of items on their menu, from crab cakes, steaks, seafood, appetizers, sandwiches, and salads. The location offers stunning views of the Chesapeake Bay. Everyone will be expected to pay for their own food and drinks.
We've had great turnouts the past years (packed the house with 50+) and we hope to see all of you for a great day of island fun!
Fun Run information: We will meet at 8:30am at the address below and leave promptly at 9:00am. We’ve created a fun route to Southern Maryland, so everyone will need to sign the waiver before we head out.
Please note the meet point is the taller green building NEXT DOOR to Passport BMW and the dealership has requested we DO NOT park in their lot since its reserved for customers.

The drive will take 1.5 hour which will leave us some time to hangout on the pier before we head inside for our 11:00am lunch reservation.
Hello, this will be my first time meeting all of you and I'm VERY excited. I live about 10 minutes from the Lighthouse so I will meet you all there. Just to let you all know parking is very limited and they have a gravel parking lot. Right off the street os a long boardwalk that could definitely fit 50 plus cars and would make a good photo opportunity because it's right on the waterfront.

I'll plan to attend...…...I'm a new member joined 2018 when I bought my first BMW 2015 M235ix.. Haven't been down to Solomon's for years even though I've lived in Northern VA for 43 years! Should be a nice drive there. Tom
