The number of BMW drivers finishing in the top three in their class in the DC Region, SCCA Solo Championship series was way down this year.

3rd Place Noel Leslie Z4

X Prepared (XP) 1st Place Larry Casey Factory Five Roadster (Cobra Replica)

Although I'm not a podium finisher, I did manage to nail the "fastest 6 cylinder in XP" for the season, albeit getting spanked by Jason last week, who also put all those pesky Cobras in their place!

Didn't John Willemin finish up there in STX this year? He ran a couple events with NCC this season in his WRX.

Also Gabe Dunn did an event here in his E46 M3, but he usually co-drives for Karen Kraus in an ESP WRX, which I think did pretty well this year....

Yeah, she was having issues all year it seemed....growing pains from moving from stock to SP I guess.

The BMW club seems to attract the most competitive drivers outside the SCCA and AI, it is where I first became a regular before moving up to SCCA and the one I recomend most to people that are interested trying autocross for the first time.
