we've had a great time the past few months at King Street Blues, and Velocity Five is super nice

As for Fairfax BMW, they are of special interest to me. My M3 is there...has been for over a week. Minor oil leak and idle vibration turned into a major oil leak. They found a cracked valve cover gasket, which turned into damaged timing chain parts. Say what? Now major repairs are underway. Of course I bought the car CPO with almost 49000 miles on the clock; am the 3rd owner. Who did what & when in its past life? Why? When I find out, will let you know....

Got the M3 back today. "Chain tensioner failed." "Fault of chain, frictional connection." Timing chain, valves, compression...all are fine. Car is running smooth; engine is clean...it's clear that the Fairfax techs know what they are doing. I'm happy...and still planning to make the social.

Paul - now that we have some daylight in the early evenings: what time should we show up for hanging out & car talk in the parking lot? 5:30? 6:00??

why sit in traffic when you can leave work early and come hang up with fellow club members

we'll get there at 6p to hangout and go inside at 7p. first person there should definitely park in a large enough area where ALL of us can fit (looks like we'll have a great turnout).
