Old news. And the developer, Crispin Etherington, is still hard at work on keeping things going. The original site on Rt 235 near Hollywood has been scraped and the likely spot for the track now is very close to Maryland International dragway at Budds Creek.

And Dragons Ridge (near Williamsburg), Brandy Station (near Culpeper), and High Point (North Carolina). Maryland has had track proposals near Bainbridge, Havre de Grace, and Cumberland.
I visited Rausch Creek (north of Harrisburg, PA off I-81) several times during development. The site was cleared, and the grading completed. As the site was over abandoned coal mines they then ran into EPA and sinkhole problems.
But I'm optimistic about Tatton Park.
