Oct 9th Columbia Social 6pm - Last month at Champps!!!

This is it!!!! We're back to Champps for our final time on Thur, Oct 9th.

Champps Columbia
10300 Little Patuent Parkway, at Columbia Mall
next to AMC Movie Theater, Cheesecake Factory, and Nordstroms.

Also most people will want to park on the top floor of the parking garage since it shouldn't be full at all. The garage is located behind Champps, and you can enter on the road between the movie theatre and Nordstroms.

**We'd like EVERYONE to park in the same spot, so please try to find us on the top floor**

In order to continue having future socials, the club will cover up to $20/head, so we'll collect $ to help cover the remaining part of the bill/gratuity (usually around $5-10/head). Hopefully those who have a few more drinks than others will volunteer more than someone that just orders sodas.

We will start at 6pm in the parking lot and head inside around 6:30p. Don't be late

The Va guys need 2 stop punking out. There are people that come from Upper Marlboro. About the same distance as coming from Fairfax area.

But, it would be nice to move the social farther south. Like say College Pk.

I agree about VA folks not wanting to drive into MD. WTF is up with that? We all have nice cars and they're meant to be DRIVEN!!!! I drive to Tysons/Herndon/Dulles every month, so I expect that people can do the same. Traffic only means you plan your route and maybe leave earlier.

The Columbia social was setup to cater towards the Baltimore area folks (and also b/c Zach and I live close ). Actually all of the social hosts live close to their location (this shouldnt be shocking to anyone, right?)

All of our socials are spaced out to be kinda central for the entire chapter's area of responsibility (NoVA, DC, and ALL of MD). Yes we could move them to a lot of places, but I'd still would hear people complaining about where they are (b/c I didnt move it to their backyard), but it also takes planning to make any change. I still find that people don't understand the current monthly schedule we have even though it hasnt changed in the last 2 years.

Well - i counted 3 or 4 cabrios there last night enjoying a club supported function. Yet, none of them offered to support the parade this Sunday.
