Recommendation for 2004 E46 HID Headlight Replacement

Hey there, both my headlights projectors burnt out. I replaced with aftermarket projectors and they lasted about 2 months (either bad project and/or install). Other than the dealership and OEM parts (estimate $4k+ there), any other alternatives or leads for good aftermarket HID xenon headlights and a shop that can install for a reasonable rate anywhere in the DMV? Thanks. Steven

Probably easier to find this info on e46fanatics.com. As far as installers, most shops won't install aftermarket parts they don't source for you since they would want a cut of the parts margin, but they also may not warranty the install.

There's some good independent shops in the area like RRT or Activ Automotive, but you'd have to call to see if they would install

Like Paul said, E46Fanatics has a lighting section on the forum:

ZHPMafia E46 owners have also dealt with the burnt bowl scenario: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/forum...hp?53-Lighting
