Tire Recommendation

A friend has a 1999 328is and is going to sell it in 6 to 12 months. He wants a decent all-season tire but does not want to spend allot of money.

Any recommendations?

Also, I purchased some Toyo tires for a 2000 323i and am curious to get some treadwear reports. I am not having any problems but I do want to get a ballpark on life expectancy...I do understand all the variables but would like some real life experience.

And, uh, treadwear on Toyo tires ranges from 5,000 to 100,000 miles. You'd do better if you gave us some information on which tires you've got.

How's Yokohama's Avid's V or H rated. Quite, decent dry performance, good wet performance, decent snow performance with 100lbs of sand in trunk. I get about 35 to40k miles out of them. Costs about $60-70 a tire
mounted and balanced.

I'm running the Toyo Proxes 4 on my 2000 323i and I'm on my second set. I'm not rotating, however I am getting a four wheel alignment every 15-20K. I getting about 60-65K per set of Toyos. Happy motoring...
