Recommendation for Vinatge (E21) Transmission Service in NoVA

I have a 1980 320i (E21) with a Getrag 5-speed transmission in need of repair (squealing bearings). I've lost confidence in my regular repair shop, which up to this point has been adequate but I suspect this problem maybe beyond their level of comfort. All other recent work to address clutch, clutch bearings, etc. has been done or deemed in good condition. I'm seeking recommendation(s) on local shops to source the parts and complete the repair (NoVa/Maryland).
