New member in Odenton
Aloha everyone! I moved here this summer from Hawaii for work. I've been a BMW CCA member for about 7 years now. I own a 97 M3 that I use to autocross with SCCA. I've swapped in a KW Variant 3 suspension, Kosei K4 rims; H&R front and rear sway bars, a flashed ECU and I replaced the automatic with a manual transmission after the car was towed from Georgia to Washington state with the rear wheels on the ground. I'm looking forward to HPDE and track days; I enjoyed those in the Puget Sound Chapter but the Hawaii chapter didn't have those type events. I've had the car since 2008 and it's now over 225,000 miles.
I realize I need to get some winter tires since my RE71s will be basically cinder blocks here soon. I ended up in a ditch after an unexpected snowstorm dumped a few inches of snow during an end of year autocross awards banquet back in WA. I learned from my mistake!
