National Capital Chapter of BMWCCA, is very excited to kick-off an Inaugural Euro-Marque Golf Tournament with four other fabulous car clubs who have accepted to participate:

Team Porsche: PCA Potomac (Porsche Club of America Potomac)

Team Audi: ACNA PCC (Audi Club North America Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter)

Team Aston: AMOCNA MA (Aston Martin Owners Club North America Mid-Atlantic Region)

Team Mercedes: MBCA GWS (Mercedes Benz Club of America Greater Washington Section)



If you are a golfer who has a passion for cars, whether it’s the love for yours or the envy for another’s, then this low-key and low-risk-to-your-car event is for you.

The day will begin with seeing familiar faces and maybe the owner of your next car in the dedicated parking area of Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt. Whether you’re a competitive or a social player, all teams will tee off at the 1pm Shotgun Start and play a fabulous links-style course with wide fairways, fast greens, plenty of elevation changes, several pot bunkers, and spectacular views. Afterwards, meet your fellow car enthusiasts to enjoy an outdoor BBQ dinner and vote on your favorite car in a low-key Player’s Choice Concours. A Euro-Marque Golf Trophy will be awarded to the winning car club’s team in the Competitive Flight, and a Player’s Choice trophy will be awarded to a winner for each marque.

Date: Sunday, June 28th, 2015

Check-In Time: 12pm – 12:45pm

Tee Time: 1pm Shotgun Start

Location: Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt, Leesburg, VA 20176

BBQ Dinner and Viewing/Voting on Cars: 5:30pm

Golf and Player’s Choice Concours Awards Ceremony: 6:30pm

Player Requirements: For players registering under the Porsche marque, Porsche ownership is required. For players registering under all other marques, membership in the marque’s club is required.

Playing Format: 2 Flights

Competitive Flight
• 2 teams of 4 from each marque
• Official USGA Handicaps not used
• Texas Scramble (use 4 tee-shots from each player, then Captain’s Choice)
• 1-bogey max per hole (in the event of tied scores, the winner will be based on the best score of the hardest handicap hole)
• One 1st Place Trophy will be awarded to the winning marque’s club
• $10 fee to compete in the Longest Drive Contest and Closest to the Pin Contest
• Registration for this flight will be managed by each marque’s representative. Contact your marque’s representative if you are interested in playing in this flight

Social Flight
• Scramble, Captain’s Choice after every shot
• 1-bogey max per hole
• $10 fee to compete in the Longest Drive Contest and Closest to the Pin Contest
• Use this site to register
• We will happily form your foursome if you’re a single or need help filling out your team

Player’s Choice Concours:
• All golfers are eligible to enter and/or vote
• Prep your cars BEFORE you arrive to the course and “show what you brung”
• Players will vote on marques OTHER than their own
• Additional details will be sent via email to all registered players prior to the event

Cost: $105
• Includes greens fees, cart fees, unlimited range balls, Player’s Choice Concours, and a BBQ dinner
• Dedicated parking
• Credit cards will be charged starting June 14th

We need some good golfers to join Team BMW in the Competitive Flight; for those who rather just play for fun, please join the Social Flight.

Less than 2 weeks away! Team BMW, currently about 12 people strong, is looking for more players who want to enjoy a great day of golf and cars. Your skill level doesn't really matter since we have both a competitive and social (i.e. beer) flight.
