Why would PTG decide to punish the club after all of our support because of the decision made by BMW NA? I don't understand why BMW NA have dropped them either. It seems like BMW has really shifted their racing attention to only open wheel classes like the Formula BMW and F1.
BMW has shifted their attention because all they make are overweight luxo-barge cruisers.
now let's be rational. if anyone is being punished here, it's PTG, having been dropped by BMW NA (because they're not selling anything they want to race right now or because they're not making anything competitive) - despite advertising claims of motorsport links.
PTG is a good friend of the bmw club and i hope they find something fun and fast to race next year! Maybe someday it will again be a BMW.
You could race a M5 against the vettes and AM's in ALMS or the M6. Like in the good ole days.

Milner commented at the last ALMS race about them closing the season with BMW but didn't elaborate on future plans. I'm guessing maybe Rolex Grand Am possibly or take the year off.
At the Laguna Seca race Milner said "we'll be back next year."
