I just purchaced an '03 M3 Conv. in December and have been enjoying the car very much. This is my first post on this forum. While parked at work I got side swiped down the left side of the car. I'm with State Farm and need to choose a Select Service Center for the body work but I have no experience with these shops. Has anyone had experience (good or bad) with any of the following shops? If not can you recommend a good shop in Northern Virginia (off this list) where I can count on the work being done right? Thanks in advance for your help.
Pohanka Collision of Arlington
Springmall Auto Body on Backlick Road
Precision Collision in Lorton
Craftsman Auto Body in Falls Church

If those are the 'preferred' body shops that your insurance company 'recommends', I'd go in another direction fast. Check D&V auto body in Dulles.

I've used Falls Church Auto Body. It wasn't for my BMW but they did a good job.

I had my '09 M3 fixed at Springmall Auto Body, and they did a good job and got the car back to me when they said it was going to be done. They also have an Enterprise Car Rental desk at their facility.
