07/22/2017 - Euro Marque Golf Tournament, Leesburg, VA

Our 3rd Annual Euro Marque Golf Tournament will be held at Raspberry Falls Golf Club in Leesburg, VA. This is our yearly competition against car clubs: Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Aston Martin, and others.

Team BMW is still always looking for golfers to join us in either the Competitive or Social flight. Registration is now open. REGISTER

For the fifth year, our Car Corral and Hospitality Tent will be located trackside for the Michelin GT Challenge and Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge with great views of the track and will offer the following:

• Parking with the BMW CCA Members
• A large tent with tables and chairs and of course shade
• Full lunch on Saturday and Sunday and snacks and drinks throughout the day
• Parade Laps, door prizes, speakers and more
• Q&A sessions with BMW teams and motorsport product specialists

Additionally, representatives from the BMW Performance Center will be in the corral and have once again donated an M School.

To the Membership of the National Capital Chapter:
The Club bylaws were recently changed for readability and flow of language. The functional changes that were made had to do with the language regarding the Drivers' School Steering Committee (DSSC). Please see the revised language below.

"The DSSC shall be composed of five individuals with a reasonable level of drivers' school expertise and organizational experience, as follows:

Old Language: A chairperson, who shall be an elected officer and who shall be appointed by the other elected officers of the Board of Directors and who shall take direction from the Board of Directors.
New Language: A chairperson who shall be nominated by the current DSSC and agreed to by a majority of the Board of Directors and who shall take direction from the Board of Directors ('Committee Chair')."

In order for the new version of the Bylaws to be adopted, the chapter membership must vote on the new language. We have set up this site in MotorsportReg.com for member voting: Direct Link. Registration will be open from Thursday, June 15, 2017 through Friday, September, 15, 2017. We encourage all members to vote on this change in the NCC Bylaws.
