Annapolis' Tate BMW/Mini has been sold to Group 1 Automotive Inc.
The deal represents the third acquisition for the Houston-based automotive retailer Group 1 since the beginning of the year.
The Annapolis dealership is expected to generate $73 million in annual revenue for Group 1 (NYSE: GPI) and will operate as part of Group 1's eastern region, Group 1 said in a news release. The dealership will be renamed BMW/Mini of Annapolis.
Group 1 owns 105 automotive dealerships, 145 franchises and 27 service centers in the U.S. and United Kingdom.
