What type of helmet would you recommend?

Where is a good place to get it (local or online)?

Thanks

I think that the best approach is to go out to OG Racing http://www.ogracing.com and try on a number of different helmets.

I second going to OG Racing. They spend a lot of time with you and give you good information and education prior to making your purchase decision.

Take a Saturday morning drive out to Dulles and try on a bunch of helmets at O.G. Racing (www.ogracing.com). Different helmet manufacturers fit better on some shapes of heads than others, e.g. I've got a "Bell" head, whereas a friend of mine has more of a "Simpson" head.

And after you've picked up a good, comfortable helmet, you can mosey over to All-Sports Grand Prix (www.allsportsgp.com) and take it for a test run (just don't crash test it).

Just bought a Bell M3 Helmet from OG racing, and found them to be very helpful in making a selection last week.

Sounds like OG is the best place to start.

Thanks for all of the help!
